2024.01 Tea Social & Taste~Bai Bian Qing Xin Oolong Varietal

Whether you are a novice with tea or a well-seasoned tea lover, we invite you to our tea bar to enjoy the aromas and sounds of tea pouring, and mingle over your tea experiences with other tea lovers. And, of course, to taste tea!

Our tea buyer, Chih Hui, met with our Shan Lin Xi farmers last time she visited Taiwan in November. She sat with them for hours comparing their white, green, and oolong teas with Chinese white, green, and oolong teas from Teance. At this month's tasting, we get the chance to taste the new teas that Chih Hui brought back with her. These teas will soon be available for purchase and tasting as well.

We will taste White, Green, Oolong & Red teas that all are Qing Xin Oolong Varietal from Shan Lin Xi High Mt. The same varietal has processed in different ways to make them into different type of teas. As farmers call oolong is Bai Bian Oolong "百變烏龍" (Bǎi biàn wū lóng). Bai Bian 百變  means "ever-changing"!
