Let’s gather under the amber glow of an October Full Moon to sip tea and discover the remarkable true stories of women from ancient Asian cultures who played instrumental roles in shaping their societies by being fearless warriors, rulers, defenders of female sovereignty, and so much more!
Karen Wang Diggs (Jia Ling) is a chef and nutritionist by day and a history hound and writer by night and is the creator of www.herstoryinhistory.com
She will read excerpts from her new book:
10 Super Asian Women Who Shaped History – Volume One, which was funded on Kickstater in March of 2023. It is her hope that this book will elevate our current efforts for gender equality and social justice across all cultures by learning from the past.
During this gathering, Jia Ling will also guide everyone to fold a paper crane, which is a symbol of long life, transformation, and peace.
