In its absence, we present to you this Da Hong Pao collection from Wuyi Star Tea. Consisting of five distinct aroma profiles made from the same leaf, experience how a tea can offer unique flavors and profiles based on its unique roasting and processing techniques.
Da Hong Pao is a rock tea (yan cha 岩茶) that grows in the rocky, mineral-rich soil of Wuyi Mountain. The result is a complex tea that has mineral, earthy notes and a smooth finish. These five Da Hong Pao range from lighter roast to darker roast, allowing the complexity of flavors to shine through in each tea.
Qing Ya 清雅 Da Hong Pao: bright, fresh profile that unfolds with a honey floral aroma.
Chun Xiang 醇香 Da Hong Pao: fruity sweetness and woody depth with a translucent, mellow fragrance.
Hong Yun 紅韻 Da Hong Pao: classic, strong-flavored; marries sweet-mellow fruit with an exquisite roasted depth.
Ba San Cha Ren 八三茶人 Da Hong Pao: robust and nuanced; traditional roasting that defines Wuyi Rock Tea; timeless, warm aroma.
Yun Cang 蘊藏 Da Hong Pao: aged, clean woody aroma.

Steeping Guidelines
- 4.5-5g | 6oz. @ 210˚F | 1-1.5 mins
- May be re-steeped multiple times
- Use a porcelain or Yixing teapot.
