An ethereal high mountain energy producing a pervasive floral fragrance is very much present in this crop, where the dense fog and intense temperature changes between night and day certifies this unique oolong from Taiwan. The producer of this tea, Mr. Yeh, compares it to making a custom-made Chinese dress; "Sunrise" is for a young girl, while "Green Symphony" is for an elegant lady.
The teas are produced at the Yeh family farm at Da An, Shan Lin Xi 杉林溪 at an elevation of 1500 meters. Fog-drenched peaks dense with groves of towering bamboo and gingko trees create a unique, biodynamic farming environment that supports the rich complexity of this tea. The property has a modern 5-star facility for processing tea as well as an ancient house over 100 years old. Three generations of the Yeh family have lived in the house. The Yeh family takes pride in the care that they apply to the land and the tea plants on the farm.

Tasting Notes (7/22/2021):
A bright floral nose gives way to a deep vegetal aroma. The liquor is bright and refreshing, slightly thick with a crisp finish. A creamy, viscous body pervades the middle palette, while subtle notes of pineapple linger.
