We invite you to enjoy quiet time at the tea shop before opening. We will gather with tea, movement, and reflection in a space of connection to begin our day!
Chih Hui has been starting some of her days at the tea shop by practicing tai chi or qigong in the empty tea shop before enjoying a slow pot of tea. Now the weather is cooling down and preparing for Autumn. To have a pot of tea in the morning is a nice way to calm your soul for the day.
She invites you to join in a community offering of ‘Morning Flow’ time with tea, where we will join in gentle movement, tea brewing, and a chance to reflect on tea or, if you would like, whatever is emerging for you these days. You and the group will get a chance to brew the teas with the gaiwan over multiple steeps. We will compare each others' brewing.
Opening Flow tea session - gentle movement, breathing and tea to bring awareness to our bodies and what we are experiencing
Middle Flow tea session - tea conversation and/or sharing tea story
Closing Flow tea session - reflection about the teas we are tasting and what is emerging for us this autumn season.
