An exceptional green tea with tiny, moss-like curls of dark jade. Grown on the peaks of Lu Shan, a Taoist mountain hidden in fog, these tea bushes are naturally shaded from the sun. Containing especially high levels of chlorophyll, this tea produces an unusually rich, buttery infusion. The texture is smooth and viscous. Lu Shan Clouds and Mist stands out from all other green teas - a long-standing favorite of Teance customers and staff.
Tasting Notes (6/18/2020):
Wet leaves smell of lightly sautéed spinach, sweet and vegetal. The liquid is extremely buoyant in the mouth, though not too viscously thick. Subtle seaweed taste, light and buttery.
