In 2002, our founder Winnie was inspired to open a tea shop where people could sit down and enjoy high-quality whole-leaf teas. She collaborated with close friends FuTung Cheng and Peter Li to open Celadon/Teance, an intentionally-crafted tea shop where FuTung's original circular tea bar was poured. 22 years later, this tea bar continues to bring people together for connection, stillness, relaxation, learning, and of course, to enjoy tea.
We invite you to join us for Friday evening Journey Footnotes with Tea to share any reflections and stories from the last month. How are you and your loved ones doing? What activities have you been giving attention to lately? Where have you traveled this month - whether a walk around the neighborhood or a journey overseas? What are you learning, noticing, feeling?
Come to share, or just come to listen! At our first Summer Journey Footnotes with Tea, folks shared that having this evening gathering gave them more motivation and solidarity to focus on an ongoing project or read the book they've been wanting to read.
We will decide as a group which 3 teas we want to enjoy from the selected list. Tea snacks will be provided, and herbal/non-caffeinated tisane will be available upon request. Feel free to bring your own tea snacks to share!
