These paper tea filters are made from abaca pulp, cellulose and sealing fibers, without glue or any other type of binding agent. They are chlorine-free bleached and biodegradable. The large size and expanding base of the paper tea filter provides the tea leaves enough room for their flavor to fully unfold. This is the perfect add-on if you are new to loose leaf tea and not ready to commit to a tea infuser or teapot.
This tea filter can be used without a filter holder as the filling flap facilitates the removal of the filter after brewing. The convenient “filling flap” prevents the mess while filling in the tea.
The filter can also be sealed in the manner of a “tea bag” by folding the filling flap and closing it with any filter holder, e.g. piercing the filter with the Filter Stick or toothpick. Or can be dipped into a teapot and placed with the pointed end up to be pulled out of the pot after brewing.

How to brew your tea it:
- Open filter and fill with desired amount of tea.
- Set in cup or teapot and allow open flap to hang over rim of cup, teapot or cold-brewing jar.
- Gently pour hot water over the filter and into your cup or teapot. Or fill up with cold water in your jar.
- Let the tea brew for the desired length of time.
- Discard after use
