Join us for an afternoon dedicated to celebrating Dragon Boat Festival (端午節 Duān wǔ jié) with an intergenerational fashion show. Instead of dragon boat races, we'll be doing colorful catwalks around the tea shop. We invite you to dress in any traditional or modern wear from your culture or lineage, or any outfits and accessories that you make you feel great! This is a time to play and celebrate, so come with your kids and bring your friends & family of all ages! We are looking forward to seeing the array of texture, fabric, color in the air on this day.
Lin Family Snacks will be selling homemade Taiwanese southern style Zongzi, which is a glutinous rice stuffed with various ingredients including pork and peanuts, all wrapped and steamed in bamboo leaves. It is a traditional food eaten for Dragon Boat Festival.
