Rose Golden Oolong Cold Brew

Golden Oolong is a blend of Tieguanyin and Yellow Gold. Both are intensely aromatic, but one is sweet licorice, and the other is honeysuckle like. Custom-made at the farm to get the blend just right, we tested out many batches of both spring crops to come up with the 'golden' ratio of the two revered oolongs. Perfect for cold steeping as well as hot brewing, Golden Oolong can claim both. A great affordable gift to introduce your friends and family to whole leaf tea drinking.

Rose petals are mixed in to complement the oolong tea with a delicate aroma and floral flavor. Rose buds and petals are considered warming and sweet in traditional Chinese herbal medicine and help to gently, yet effectively promote the movement of stagnant qi and harmonize blood. Rose petals can also help open the chest when there are feelings of constraint, and they help harmonize the Liver, Spleen, and Stomach.

Together, this Rose Golden Oolong blend offers a Yin-Yang pair of warming rose petals and cooling oolong tea. Unlike many rose-scented teas on the market, this blend of Oolong and rose petals is delicate and balanced and does not overwhelm the palate with its floral fragrance. Cold Brew tea preparation:

• Place one or two sachets in a half-gallon container of cool filtered water
• Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4-5 hours
• Steep longer for a stronger tea.
