The Meng Hai factory, one of the most respected pu-erh producers in China, makes this shu pu-erh from large-leaf tree-type varietals growing wild in an area known as the Six Ancient Mountains. The generous leaves are foraged, post-fermented for 40 days and nights and aged for one full year. Dusky and slightly smoky, it finishes on a delightfully sweet note.
