Made from a single, ancient tree on Phoenix Mountain, this astonishing tea has been prized above all others in the region since long before any local can remember. Naturally fertilized by grazing ducks, the nameless leaves’ intense honeysuckle and papaya aroma fill the room when steeped, yielding a matching sweetness on the tongue. While we’re not sure how much tea is available each year—it has rarely traveled outside the mountain until now—we are certain this batch comes exclusively from the mother tree (and not an inferior clipping stolen by the neighbors).
