Old Tree Imperial 10 Year Shu Pu-erh
Production: Shu fermentation
Attributes: A loose Pu-erh comprised of smaller, finer spring shoots of leaves, rolled and fermented for 40 days for an earthy, thick, viscous Pu-erh. Harvested by the Bulang tribe in the Bulang mountains of semi-cultivated tea trees.
(Formerly 8 year) - This tea comes from older tea trees with deeper root systems, imparting a unique flavor profile with a stronger mineral notes. This tea reminds me of a masterfully made antique wood cabinet. The craftsmanship and leaf quality show up beautifully in each cup.
