Hand Painted 'Vine' Tea Cups
Set of 2 'vine' blue and white porcelain Pu-erh teacups, exquisitely handpainted in the nature style favored by the Ming era (around the 1500s). This type of bluish porcelain is highly prized and made mostly by the artisans in the renowned region of Jingdezhen, China, known for the most difficult to execute chinas in the world. Though this pair of cups can be used for any tea, its shallow body and wide base was designed exclusively for Pu-erh, to appreciate the light ring that appears around a deep, earthy rich orange hue that is high quality Pu-erh. Approximately 2 oz. capacity each.
