Production: Shade Grown and Stone Milled
Cultivated by the venerable Koyama family who has been in operation since the late 17th-century, Awaraku is a matcha unmatched in texture and taste. Stone-milled to just two to three microns in size, this is the finest-particle matcha in the world. Tonic-like notes of grass and moss are detectable in this vegetal infusion. This is the only matcha in the world that can be whipped in cold water!
