June 2008 Event
Phoenix Oolongs are known as Single Grove- leaves of each tree are
harvested and processed separately because each tree has its own
distinguished fragrance. Many of these trees are well over 100 years
old, grown year long in dense fog and high elevations. Some of the
fragrances are so rare that the harvested teas become tributes only to
the royalty. Teance will be holding a special Phoenix
tasting event this Friday at 7:30pm to taste these rare teas. Some are
only available in extremely small quantities and for sale in this event
only.
We will be tasting the following:
Pommelo Flower
Almond
Honey
Eight Immortals
East is Red (Sung Dynasty)
Cinnamon
Collective
The Friday night class starts at 7pm. You may attend the class for
$12 to include the tasting, or come for the tasting only for $6.
