Featured Teas
It is the bamboo groves that the local tea was named after, as the tea buds are not only shaped somewhat like bamboo leaves, its fragrance and taste is also reminiscent of the fragrance of bamboo. The nitrogen rich red soil and the constant trickle of misty rainfall ensures a spring like weather 3 out of 4 seasons a year. Because of this prolonged spring season, Bamboo Green tea can be harvested over ¾ of the year. However, a highly skilled farmer can only be hand pick about ½ pound of raw leaves a day, so one may imagine the scarcity and specialness of this tea.
