You deride me hanging about the precious tea by the stream,
As I pick the golden buds for my golden urn,
In my plain white porcelain cup , the fragrance of the snowy white foam,
Rivals the nectar of the immortals
One drink of this tea eases my sleep,
A fresh new world fills my awakened state
The second drink clears my spirit
As if the light rain had sprayed gently on the dusty world
In my third drink I have achieved the Tao
No need to meditate so hard on suffering!
This tea is so ethereal and deep, the mundane can not understand,
To their delusions the mere mortals drink their wine instead!
