Special Event: Quilt Exhibit
Local artist Anna Xi Wong creates beautiful, intricate quilts in both the traditional Western and Asian methods. This event is free of charge. Using
clay and fabric as foundations, a kaleidoscope of colors, shapes and
lines are arranged to create designs that are exciting, interesting,
thought provoking and eye catching as well.
Biography:
Anna
Xi Wong is a teacher and an artist. She has been creating her art
in a variety of forms practically her entire life. Anna has also
employed her art as a useful, successful and inspiring tool in her
Berkeley Chinese Bicultural kindergarten class for the last 18
years. Besides currently working with clay and fabric, she
also enjoys working with beads, yarn, paper and various medium for
drawing and painting.
