Description   2010 Harvest Tai Ping Hou Kui Low Caffeine Anhui, China Steepings: min. 3 times A large leaf, fabulous green tea with a sweet, complex taste, devoid of the bitter edge that some inferior greens are prone to. Named after the city of Tai Ping in Anhui, China, near the Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain) area, this tea is characterized by a flat double leaf with hidden downy bud. Distinctively Chinese in that it is less vegetal and more refreshing to the palate than other Asian greens. Tasting Notes Tai Ping Hou Kui Vegetal and spinachy with a rich raw green taste, a hint of smokiness from the sun and hot pan drying.
