Description   Silver Needle (Yin Zhen) Extremely Low Caffeine Fuding, Fujian China Steepings: min. 3 times Silver soft, downy premature leaf buds gently plucked, this is one of the most highly prized teas in China. Grown from White Tea Varietal #2, every needle is whole, exact, and feathery light unopened leaf bud. The precision handpicking of these teas is astounding as it takes over 30,000 buds to make a lb., which only yields about 1/2 lb. of finished tea. When steeped,  the liqueur assumes a pale silver green tint. Subtle taste and delicate flavor offers a hint of melon. High in antioxidants and low in caffeine, this is an excellent tea to drink late at night and throughout the day by those sensitive to caffeine. Steeping Instructions
