Steeping Instructions
- Vessel: porcelain teapot, or porcelain gaiwan
- Temperature: 205 F filtered hot water
- Number of infusions: 3-4
- Proportion: 3 gm for 8 oz water
- Standard instructions: Steep for 2 minutes in a porcelain pot, decant and serve.
- Specific instructions: Pour hot water onto herbs and steep for 2 minutes. If using a gaiwan, stir briefly with lid at the 30 second interval. If using a teapot, swivel teapot gently to help the herbs absorb the hot water and fall to the bottom. Decant into a server or teacup and enjoy.
