This infusion is a
sweet health tonic with 8 kinds of Chinese herbs, and a prized drink of
Yunnan, China. Eight Treasures Tea is a Chinese medicinal herbal
concoction formulated to promote energy, circulation, and to replenish
'chi'. The 8 "treasures" include: goji berry, jujube red date, citrus
peel, ginseng root, cane sugar cube, chrysanthemum, Tieguanyin oolong tea,
and longan fruit. Said to improve circulation, generate blood, and
tonify the liver.

Steeping Instructions
- Vessel: porcelain teapot, or porcelain gaiwan
- Temperature: 205 F filtered hot water
- Number of infusions: 3-4
- Proportion: 1 unit for 8 oz water
- Standard instructions: Steep for 2 minutes in a porcelain pot, decant and serve.
- Specific instructions: Pour hot water onto herbs and steep for 2 minutes. If using a gaiwan, stir briefly with lid at the 30 second interval. If using a teapot, swivel teapot gently to help the leaves absorb the hot water and fall to the bottom. Decant into a server or teacup and enjoy.
